MADRAS DAY CELEBRATION
A Sunday Morning in Triplicane: A Photo walk Tale

As the sun peeked over Triplicane’s ancient rooftops, photographers gathered—a tribe of storytellers armed with lenses and curiosity. The occasion? The 372nd Madras Day, a celebration of the city’s soul.

The day began with a ritual: sunrise and filter coffee. Cups clinked, steam curled, and conversations flowed. I  adjusted my camera settings, attuning them to the dance of light and shadow. The streets awaited—their secrets hidden in narrow alleys and sun-kissed walls.
And so it began—the play of colors and contrasts. The golden hour painted the world—cats slinking through shafts of light, their whiskers catching brilliance. Each click froze a moment: a cat’s gaze, a splash of graffiti, an old man lost in thought.

And as the morning unfolded-my camera clicked away, weaving magic. Each shot—like a brushstroke on Chennai’s canvas—held a piece of Madras. A slice of life, frozen forever.
